-
been blizzard like on malone road since 9am, however the flakes are so small doesn't seem like any extra accumulation. great walking in it, all blowing about the place its so dry!
-
when you look at the radar and then BBCs pathetic graphics they were showing today, its nearly embarassing them going with those. should just have went back to snow symbols
-

ecm percipitation charts are the worst of the lot! the north get light snow a few hours, most of the south avoid:

Noticed that, and consequently convection starting off Eastern Down coast, just need a bit more Easterly than North Easterly.
looking at how the showers are moving accross scotland and england it looks south easterly now, see the big gap in showers between north england and south? we are between that gap lol
-
looks like winds turning east now ppn picking up off the coast for ni

If the wind swung south easterly we would clean up starting to get a bit more interesting now, Im gona guess from 12pm wel come more into play

those big scottish streamers look like they are finally hitting the coast, deffinitly one to watch, better angle that yesterdays also! nice to see those down south get snow too, us in the north get usually 3/4 days a year of snow, some of you havent seen it in 8!

Bbc outlook NI updated 10 minutes ago
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday
Thursday will be mostly cloudy and bitterly cold with a strong easterly wind. Spells of snow are likely to spread from the south, often light but some heavier spells are possible at times. The snow may intensify again through Friday as it moves northwards. Drier overnight. Cold again on Saturday with a risk of another spell of snow pushing from the south later in the day.
To summarise anything fooking thing could happen
metOffice: friday will be mostly dry day
BBC: Friday has the snow intensifying
maybe that postman from donegal knows whats gona happen -
GFS 12Z has whole country in play again, good consistency from it

ARPEGE has band for friday moving north over whole country, ICON has it skirting through Cork and Kerry before moving west, seems a small band moving up east coast for saturday. bonkers how there's such a massive difference 3 days out
-
radar is funny, not a flake has fell at my work in Belfast, down home in the west looks like its getting hit by everything, sort of like some of those north westerly's where the west coast got nothing and all fell north antrim direction
