This is the first winter for years I have not had a 4x4.so I put snow tyres on my car and they have been great. I live 1 mile from Brimham rocks in the dales..

The snow should be with you shortly. Just picking up here now with bigger flakes and starting to settle on cars.
Hope so had snow this morning but alot has gone now.Just want a good snowfall before spring comes along....

Cheers, i generaly use this site for radar watching during snow events and shower spotting... but never kept an eye on the precip prediction page.
looks bloody good for our region though.
Yes will def be playing in the 4x4 if it comes off.Fingers crossed

just been looking at the 10 day forecast on netweather for leeds area and fridays snow combined with saturdays snow fall is in my reckoning 46 inches!!!
ie 1mm rain equals about a centimitre of snow.

correction 18 inches
About 14.5 ins in harrogate if that varified would be epic.

NMM 12HR Run is out and it's not bad for shower activity along Yorks & Lincs, favourably most activity is situated East of the A1.
Us in harrogate allways seem to miss out with this sort of setup,looks like a drive up the dales tomorrow in the land rover
