i just looked at the met office and it said snow coming wed....is this right?? not 4 me to low down but 4 somerset area...
Hey, i have seen that too.. But from my understanding (and lurking in the model output thread) it's doubtful we will see anything.. its more towards the East and North East, fingers crossed though!

99% of the snow melted here today... its been emotional.

Local BBC forecast brings that area of precipitation up into Dorset/Hampshire/Wiltshire/East Somerset/Bath during the night into tomorrow morning and warned of freezing rain, not to mention the ice that will be around anyway!

Weve had about 3/4 inches here.. still snowing now. Just a warning, 1 Lane on the A303 apparently.. people getting stuck everywhere. My father is stuck at work in Middle Wallop.

It would be nice if the warm front could be held at bay for a bit longer, but it's forecast to get warmer (well, a bit milder) from Friday onwards I think (not checked for a few hours!)...
If I remember correctly, a return to more "milder" conditions was forecast to happen just after the New Year, but the cold air beat it back with a big stick!
Would be nice if it could do it again!
I agree! Ive become attached and i doubt i would be able to cope if the milder air came through.
I hope there is more of this in the future though, whats it looking like for the end of Jan and beginning of Feb? If anyone knows? -
