Morning all, Happy Valentines Day!!!!! No restaurants this year!!! Time to test those cooking skills out gents Thankfully working in a Restaurant kitchen and being a support chef to the Head in another back in my working history, my cooking is very fine tuned!
Loving the look of some warm weather.. The hunt for me begins in a few weeks for the first 20c but that COULD happen before March!
Roll on the 30 + days and long evenings with a BBQ. Hopefully in a beer garden somewhere to with all our family and friends.. I actually can't wait.
Bye cold, been nice to see you (sort of) but ideally time for some warmer weather now and GROWING SEASON BEGINS!!!!!
Quick competition on the first date we see 20C in say C. London. I'll go with 15th March, pure stab in the dark

Well as everyone said round here, ridiculous top up here in Chartham Canterbury. Going out for long dog walk early to get pics. If the sun shines on this lot it will be blinding.

Yes places like Whitstable and Herne Bay next in line for some pastings as the convergence line is strengthening on its Eastern edge as it sinks NNE-SSW. Might even get some Thundersnow on the North Kent coast over the next hour or 2
Really drying up now in SE Essex might get the odd flake in the wind but a pleasant afternoon, look east though and its black as night over there
Where will it exit Paul Hythe, Folkestone?

Will get ruler out in the morning after anything else that we get tonight.
Think its gonna be on par wth 2013.
Will go down as a special one to add to the old ones.

Still hammering down here in canterbury. However pavements and roads are not going white! Only in small spots and patches. Surely it must nearly be cold enough for them to go?
Pavements and roads going white now Chartham, but 250 ft asl i think that still makes a difference, even a bit of elevation.

Temp -1.5 now and still dropping.
Mainly light/moderate snow.
I'm in the Amber warning zone but trust me when I say we will not be seeing 10-15cm widely at this rate.
More like 1-3 .
Hope I'm wrong but it would really need to pick up intensity..
We're at 3 to 4 cm now but you're right i think we'll top out at maybe 7 to 8

My weather station alarm just went off - OC temp reached

Yep it's a shame that it wasn't mangled in 1940. I'm not originally from here. I'm an east Kent man of old
Pity about eastern side of Canterbury city though. Still that was the Luftwaffe Baedeker raids for you! Used to live in Penenden Heath which I liked

I was gonna say the same...but didn’t wanna haha! Maidstone has a good ring road tho...
Yeah. Only problem with Maidstone is the Luftwaffe missed it during 1940 only joking Maidstonians. Went to grammar school there

My god Canterbury is going to get buried if that Clipper carries on the same path.
Looking at everything with my very limited knowledge,I think it will for a few hours yet. Might be wrong. I'll take some pics in a moment. Only 250ft asl but looking good her
