Yes I in pelton as well but wasnt expecting the snow line to drop this low to be honest so nice little suprise today .

Pic before the storm and a sample of the hail battering the cars - I cant post the vids yet as I am effing and blinding so needs editing first.

Just watched that storm roll over my house I've never seen hail like it before in UK before

Well started off as snow here all be it light then turn to sleety rain so just made it really icy

It started off as rain and has only just started to turn more to snow the last half an hour or so.

I suspect you'll catch some of the snow showers from the North Sea by the morning. I'm not sure about Tyne and Wear as they might just skirt by to the east, so I'll have to keep an eye on that radar!
Anything that falls from the sky after midnight should be snow.
Had some wet snow mixed in here. more flakes just started falling again

The storm has now seemed to have eased off, but I think there is something else brewing not to far away to the West / Northwest. Could this be storm number two?
hope so the amount of rain and hail that fell from the last one was excellent to watch.

Yeh dust off those keyboards looks like where all going to to be busy in here by the looks of some of those charts tonight.
