Little bit of a snowy covering here, looking out towards Caradon Hill (Bodmin Moor) there is a decent looking covering aswell. Bit surprised to see this, but at least we've had something

Snowing in SouthEast Cornwall!!!!

At last some sunshine(ish). Hopeful we may see some snow tonight. That M.O. thread is quite painful to follow IMHO at the moment lol
-
Rain, rain, rain.....grim here
-
A friend of mine has just put on FB the temp at 6:30am this morning, whilst travelling from Launceston to Bodmin, in his car was reading -7. I know car readings are not particularly accurate, nevertheless that's a lot colder than was forecasted last night on the regional news.
This weather is great at the moment, cold and sunny.....hope it stays a good while yet!
-
Nothing at the moment in SE Cornwall, just a bit breezy.
-
Lovely and sunny this morning in South East Cornwall, hopefully the rest of the weekend will carry on in the same vain!
-
Not great here at the moment, overcast and windy. Quite chilly and rain to come his evening, lovely!!
-
Abit cloudy this morning in SouthEast Cornwall. Still chilly and dry, so not all bad.
-
It is a tad ironic that we may get the best snow of the winter in spring. Just got used to dry and sunny conditions and now is going to snow (hopefully!).
This British weather is bloody unbelievable, you couldn't make it up!!!
-
Well, a few bits of snow(ish) blowing around in the wind currently. Still bleeding cold and dry which suits me fine.
-
Beautiful here today. Off up country today, London, for a couple of days with my daughter as she's looking to get into St Martins Art College in September. Weather looks good there although it could be a bit nippy.
PS - having cut the grass yesterday the lawn looks lovely....probably need to cut the friggin thing again in two weeks if the sun stays out!!!!
-
Fantastically sunny day even managed to cut the grass just in time for the weekends snow!
-
Ian Ferguson on Spotlight...has he been transferred in the January 'transfer window'? He must have been expensive!
-
Another cm or two in the Callington area....quite pleased with that.
-
Crikey lots of Cornwall interest tonight. I watched Countryfile and things didn't seem that exciting in these parts tonight, obviously I've missed something!
We've managed to hold onto some snow around here, especially Caradon Hill & Kit Hill. Now looking forward to tomorrow morning to see what we get....here's hoping once again.
-
I won't be surprised if we had more snow on Monday as it is certainly colder now than when it started falling in the early hours Friday morning. Currently it's 1c here and it's due to get colder, here's hoping......again!
-
I am pretty much sea level in a valley in millbrook!!!! To make myself feel included i have had defrosted snow today!!!
Lovely!!
-
I live in SE Cornwall and had no snow!!
I'm in Kelly Bray...had 5cm approx! We are at 150msl which has helped!
-
Well not a bad bit of snow here in SE Cornwall. The forecast was accurate for this area and some of the snow is still around! Good to see my hometown of Trowbridge did well today, as did Swindon, where the wife's from.
Let's see what happens next!!!!
-
Thanks DS, it's blowing a bit of a gale here and it looks like the snow is gradually petering out.
-
Good covering, maybe 3-4cm, still snowing here in snowy East Cornwall......at last!
-
There has been a lot of talk on the mental thread that a lot the models don't predict the projectory of incoming lows south enough - as far as I can tell more southerly the better for the whole of the SW. Someone please correct me if I've misunderstood.
I hope so, we'll see.
-
For us poor people in Cornwall and probably those in Devon it does look like we'll see more rain than snow this Friday! Damn.
