Agreed, can see off most depths of snow but it's a bugger to stop the thing, weight and forward momentum coupled with ice isn't great. Fun sometimes though. I sometimes dream of ABS...
Trust me the abs gives you more moments than without it

We're past 10cm here already and still it keeps coming. Got a Landy, it will chug through the snow but not a lot of good if the road's blocked with cars. Still slides though, took son home and had an interesting moment or two, sheet ice hiding under the snow.
Indeed a Landy is made for this although they're better at driving through it than stopping! Now on a disco 3 and all its electronic systems don't stop me sliding when trying to stop!!

I'm a few miles inland from Bognor at the foot of the downs and have measured 3cm on the garden table just now. Came out of Chichester Theatre to heavy flakes blowing in the wind and settling quickly at 9pm, now fizzling out. Be nice to have some more overnight but I guess that's our lot? Any ideas?

Apologies, thought my location was set. A few miles north of Sunny Bognor!

Anybody else getting an absolute deluge about now. Lightning to my west but can't hear thunder. Rain is exceptionally heavy and only just relented a little after a good ten minutes. Everything overflowing including my pond fed from the water butt!

A boy sorry. Those red round ball shaped things that bob about in the water they carry computer data on them I think that it sent back to MetO and ships out at sea.
Yes that's it a bouy, finally I know the spelling lol

Interesting, just a few miles inland from Bognor. Wind has definitely increased but rain stopped. Not excessive gusts but lights are flickering. Our supply is underground so wondering what is causing the supply disruption?
