  1. Invisible through the milkyness there are some strengthening cells approaching North Birmingham which will be worth keeping an eye on.
  2. Cells just building to the East may be of interest to the West Midlands later on this afternoon
  3. Always pushing away from us to the NW..unfortunately just to far to see any structure in the darkness
  4. It's a Philcast should be coming in to view soon....looking crazy on the radar to the SW of Brum....Hope your seeing the structure
  5. Sparkiee storm Nice capture sparky... I was on a day out on friday in deepest Black Country (Old Hill)..and saw your cells, out to the west

A lovely couple of posts here @WeatherArc As the storm moved into the SW of Brum it passed over Bartley Green/ Weoley Castle, where we lived at the time I can remember the intense rain and lightning which caused some local flooding, before moving on to drop the tornado over ' the Balti Triangle' to the East
  7. Hell of a thunder storm over the Gaza strip atm...as well as flares and bombs
  8. Pretty sure, looking at the radar, these are the active cells around Stoke
  9. I believe that it came from this cell which is now just to the N of Brum travelling of to the NE
  10. Being in the general risk for today I`ll be watching out for any `lost` cells popping up out to the West A little bit of mid level instability showing above the area atm

  12. Seeing distant flashes to my North now,,,, from the cell in South Manchester Still hoping the Welsh cell will last, until it comes into view
  13. Hoping that the cells near Brizzel take a trip up the M5, where blue skies and slight instability awaits

  17. Was there any reports on social media this morning, for displays seen from the UK? Plenty seen on Icelandic webcams
  18. The forecast for this evening/ morning is for some gapage in the clouds, in parts of the UK, gives a chance for one more session in the much fabled Salon. With a very angry Sun in recent times, and the lack of anything from NOAA-21. I`m not sure there will be anything left to see .. apart from lower altitude clouds which are closer to the pole The only thing i have got to go on is the constant displays over the UK, at this point of the 5 day rotation, is this evening. Fingers crossed that OSWIN will start to show again soon, which would give me more of a hope It seems like the Nasa scientist who comprises the NOAA-21 plots .. has been abducted by a Tic- Tac
