  1. Similar signals and plots i have observed for the last few full rotations, maybe with the signals starting a little earlier
  2. OSWIN has joined the rotation party late on, with some strong echoes in the formation zone OSWIN - Mesosphäre - Forschung - Leibniz-Institut für Atmosphärenphysik, Kühlungsborn WWW.IAP-KBORN.DE Edit; Amber alert for Aroura tonight
  3. Hard to believe atm According to the latest models from UKV and the MET there could be some gapage in the cloud cover for this evening/early morning. Worth mentioning, as its the next full rotation of the NLC`s that has given a sighting over the UK for the last 7 rotations. With the mass still fluctuating, from the available data, nothing can be guaranteed
  4. Not much chance here but they are showing low to the NW at Flensburg
  5. Me also. but with no official sightings over the UK as to yet, it really goes to show there`s no second guessing these pesky clouds Edit Another chance tonight looking at OSWIN ? OSWIN - Mesosphäre - Forschung - Leibniz-Institut für Atmosphärenphysik, Kühlungsborn WWW.IAP-KBORN.DE
  6. Yes, i`m blaming Cardigan bay for our incoming mess
  7. With the displays in Europe being so close, I have to believe that edit; but looking at the radar i also believe that i will be clouded out from the W
  8. One from the N and one from the NW, the NW seems to be the right colour but has no visible structure - i`ll be keeping an eye on it for sure
  9. Beat me to the Flensburg cam Rob Nothing here atm but could be a morning show could be on the cards
  10. I would go for Storm Tamsin .. and never call me Surely again
  11. You may get another chance tonight if OSWIN`s signals continue. Less prolonged but similar in strength and height as yesterdays OSWIN - Mesosphäre - Forschung - Leibniz-Institut für Atmosphärenphysik, Kühlungsborn WWW.IAP-KBORN.DE a couple more from this morning taken at 01.45 ...and the Moon and Venus
  12. El Brumo the worst named storm ever in this forum, pened by AJ if memory serves me right 20 mins of intensity, before i watched it disappear towards Leicester. It also crashed Brumcam v1.0
  13. Clouded out just before twilight which left me shooting the gaps I found some low brightness with structure but i`m not convinced either way. Thanks to Robs callout i managed my first evening capture of the season
  14. Just coming to the end of N twilight and as expected the display has got fainter, but still can be seen if it stays clear then i would expect them to re-ignite sometime around 2.30- 3.00
  15. Nice one Rob can you not set the focus to infinity?
  16. The German forum are describing tonights showing as the display of the season NLC 2023-07-11/12 - AKM e.V. Forum FORUM.METEOROS.DE
  17. Hoping the cloud here can clear enough for a later display This is showing a relatively high over close Europe
