Btw, a good dollop of snow is when you can't see the kerb and you inch out to cross the road as you are not too sure where they are hehe
That's always been my measure of a good snowfall!

Looking at the current output, should I be concerend about the weather as I'm due to fly from Heathrow next Wednesday evening! Please say I have no need to worry lol.

It was wall to wall sunshine here in Dunstable an hour ago, but there now looks to be something starting...

Gone very dark here in Dunstable. Some echos just shown up close by, but in the office so can't hear anything with the music on.

Really hoping for a storm. Anything like the one in July 2015 (was a Friday also) would be great! That went on for about five hours. The best storm I've ever experienced

Think that's the one. It was mental. Constant thunder and lightining for ages and some of the heaviest rain I've ever seen. Crazy lol.

A few flakes starting to fall here in Luton
-
Still coming down, not as heavy now though, but the sky is that wonderful orange colour

Easily the most snow from this spell. The roads are pretty bad.
Luckily for me I only live a 5 minute drive from work, so it only took me 20 minutes to get home....5 of those were stuck at the bottom of a slope wheelspinning with a bus behind me
-
Coming down pretty heavy here. Roads are now a bit tricky, but not much traffic thankfully. Hoping everyone decided against it today lol.

The radar has gone crazy in the last 30 minutes. Flakes getting bigger here.

Anyone want to take a punt at which way it's moving? Looks quite NW
Looks NW to me.
I'd be happy with a few CM's. It's been snowing a lot here the last couple of days, but it's just been very fine and we only have a couple of CM's

The MO app has just updated Peterborough from nothing to 4 hours of heavy snow... is this possible? I wasn't expecting anything so any explanation will be appreciated!
The snow is just further east. It's just a case of snow being very hard to forecast, even a few hours out
-
Anybody else's radar stuck?
Edit: OK now
-
Don't think it's actually stopped here today. Looking good on the radar....the channel is looking very interesting.

Yeah part of me would love to see something like that just to say I was there - but I think that's probably a bit too far for my liking! Looks like it could be absolute havoc under the worst of it.
Would be nice to sit and smoke a fat one and drink some coffee while looking out of the window at it though
Edit: A House window, not a car one. Sod being out about driving in it!

Snowing again here and wondering if we'll manage to stay on the edge for a while. It's quite fine snow, but coming down well!

Crazy storm. At least three hours of constant thunder and lightning with ridiculous rain.
