Another GFS run which looks good for us next week. What could possibly go wrong?
nothing. tonnes of snow guaranteed next week as i am in the US - kansas city - so am bound to miss all the fun here. i was in florida this time 2 years ago and in colorado in feb 2009....

out of interest how much snow would fall if that scenario did come off?

Hmm frost and fog? I'm getting hints November! This winter has a lot of catching up to do...
Said in another thread that mother nature is 2 months behind at the mo. 80 degrees at the back end of October, trees still holding onto the last of their (brown) leaves until xmas, Autumn storms in late Dec/early Jan....
Winter this year will end at the end of April. Mark my words

november weather in january....
driving through richmond park last thursday quite a few of the oaks still had a decent amount of (brown) leaves clinging to their branches.... crazy for end of december.....
is mother nature 2 months behind at the mo??
heavy snow in mid/late february and march me thinks....
