Its getting heavier here in Colchester. All the bare areas are getting covered again. Pic doesnt do it justice I'm afraid.

Just started snowing here in Rowhedge, Colchester in Essex. Light at the moment, temp up to -0.3 thats the highest all day.

Actually its a wel known fact that BBC recently made a forcast of " -60C. " The fact that i mentioned that was not to point out that they HAVE done it, It was to point out that BBC make really bad mistakes OFTEN! Thus , was trying to point out that we shouldnt pay to much attention to them!
Dude,stop whinging and just enjoy the weather (non?) event. It still looks good so chill out and try to annoy everyone less.

Checking radars it just seems to be dying out as it oves up!

0.2c here in Colchester,had sleet earlier for a few minutes but all clear now.

lightning to the east of Colchester right now. Very frequent and seems to be getting closer.
We had a tiny tst at 20:10 also.

We had snow overnight and still falling on and off. About 2.5-3cms so far and the temp has yet to get above 1c. Looks lovely!

The thunder seems to be getting more persistant now, with the rain maybe slightly easing but staying persitant none the less.
We currently have around two inches of lying water, but these thunderstorms with torrential rain are expected to last a big part of tonight, so we may be needing the use of sandbags later..

Lightning and thuder with torrential rain here in Colchester at around 9.15am.

That one just went past me in Colchester.Its fast moving and most of the lightning is IC but it was the best one so far this year!!!
