    Absolutely chucking it down here but think it will be very short lived.

    Has been as windy here as I thought it would be, had a couple of bigger gusts but otherwise just a breezy day.

    It sounds glorious! Don't get me wrong, I love a long, hot summer but we do need a good bit of rain. If only some storms came out if it *sigh*.

    Rain came to nothing and it's so humid again. Just give me a storm!

    Rain has arrived. It was ridiculously humid this morning so quite the relief.

    Lovely bit of rain this evening for about half hour. Garden needed it and it was lovely to hear. Wouldn't mind a summer of rainfall like that a couple of times a week in amongst long, warm days.

    Must admit I'm looking forward to a day of rain tomorrow to water the ground and clear the air.

    It feels much hotter in bed (not in that way you detty pigs) than previous nights even though it's not as hot.

    First overhead storm for me this year this morning. Not as much T&L as I would like but nice to see some and a nice downpour for the garden. 6/10.

    Nice rumble of thunder to wake me up. Hopefully whatever is approaching from the SW gives us something good.

    Unless something spontaneous pops up, I can't see anything stormy happening for my area, everything looks in line to miss.

    Suddenly got very humid. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

    Got woken by a couple of rumbles at about 1.30am and some lovely rain but nothing overhead. Met have taken away much of the rain for today and any storms, Beeb still going with a rainy day and storms.

    There's been a few threads about thunderstorm memories. Quite often people remembered the same storm as other posters.

    Thankful for a bit of rain today and forecast for tomorrow. Mainly to knock the pollen out the air because hayfever this year has been BRUTAL, nothing is working and can't find any relief. I don't even usually get it too badly so I feel bad for those who normally have it severely.

    Is there anywhere that records when the last time a place had rain was? I honestly can't think when when we last had some.

    Been some absolutely huge towers round here today but sadly nothing came from it.
