I know it's winter but would be lovely to have a break from this relentless wind and rain and gave some of those lovely days where it's dry, cold but you can feel the sun on your face. -
Haven't seen rain like that for a long time here. Had to run from the car into my house and was absolutely soaked through in seconds!

I'm hoping this rain melts the snow as safely as possible. Last thing anyone needs is an ice skating rink to drive on.

To be honest I'm looking forward to it warming up a bit. The snow needs to go now as all were left with is ice and that's dangerous for everyone. Just been out to measure and we have just under 3 inches. Very lightly snowing but seems like it's running out of steam.

Stopped snowing here. Not sure if that's it now or more to come. Most snow I've seen for a few years!

I imagine Bluebell Hill will do it's usual job of keeping any snow away from Medway.

I have just taken to now casting with any snow. Can't be disappointed that way! Would be nice to see some before Christmas!

The plummeting temperatures are really making themselves felt now. Normally I'm warm enough in my house with a thick jumper and a blanket and just haithe heating on sporadically but today heating is on too and it's still freezing.

It's been raining solidly for about 48 hours now with it being heavy since about 6pm. Roads will be fun this morning!

Been chucking it down all night and still going. A lot of flooding locally. It's going to be a nightmare when rush hour kicks in.

Got woken up by some loud rumbles and the rain has kicked in. Here we go.

Bit of a rumble just now. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was a couple of hours earlier than it is with how dark it is outside.

Haven't felt like we've needed it but we did a 15 minute test run to check everything was working and it cost 1p a minute! So it's not going on unless absolutely necessary. There will be 4 stages before it is considered: 1. Put jumper on 2. Add on a blanket. 3. Add a hot water bottle. 4. Add a hot drink. If still unbearably cold then it will be considered.

Going away for a couple of days for my birthday this weekend and of course it's forecast to chuck it down the entire time
