  1. The Pencaer peninsula is 1st in line for this...

    Winds SW/SSW gusting to 74mph at 5.15pm.

Showers at times heavy and persistent all day.

I give up growing grass ...paddy fields the way to go....

No chance of spreading slurry for at least 2 to 3 weeks here at any rate.

Door blown off the back of the shed. Thankfully it's only an average door.

    Secured everything we can.

    Hold on roofs 🙏

  2. gonna get interesting.

    Rain yesterday 38.2mm

Gusts today already reaching 72mph !!

    Ark built Loadsa2000 😉

Cows/horses/dogs/chickens/turkeys( yes ... Dinner and Sprout are a happy couple) donkeys are under cover. Have handed out snorkeling equipment to next doors sheep ( currently looking like teabags bless them)

Welcome to Strumble Head. Walkers and storm chasers please don't block the remaining dry passing places please! ( I'm not exaggerating )

  3. Well ... trying to batten down the damaged roof ( by a contractor  not the wind ) @Strumble Head. Cows are out as ( allegedly) spring is here. Lots of bumblebees about feasting on the gorse. Racing pigeons that have got lost on their journeys are already raising chicks.  Hope storm Antoni doesn't cause too much trouble.

    Fingers 🤞

    Weather data currently

    Temp 11.1

    Dp 9.1

    Light drizzle

    Southerly winds average 10.2 mph

    BARO 29.76 inHg

    Happy Easter 🐣

Yes that did it eh and crikey were we right were we right and were we right lol

You were fair play ! Well done Andy🙌... !

I made a judgement regarding feeding my cows or letting them out today, based on your warnings. No the snow didn't stick around here ( so far ) but I literally live on a sea surrounded peninsular.  You may ramp things up, but by golly you've got a nose for snow I swear it !

Cheers Andy. And the rest of you weather gurus!

There continues to be some disagreement between models as to the position and strength of the worst gales but this is bound to be clearer by Friday morning.  In the meantime most of the models have coastal gusts over 70mph on Saturday early morning and the Icon is showing 70mph+ gusts well inland too…..

You don’t want to be on the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry on Friday evening!

Well hail and sleet showers are whipped into stinging facials here @Strumble Head . The sea is foaming and rolling . Wind speed gusting to 57 mph NW. DP 6.8   temp 9.8 allegedly but a feels like of 4.2 . Welcome to winter !

Doubt I will see the ferry pass the farm this weekend

Another violent squall line passing through right now with heavy rain and strong wind gusts.  Looks like I’ve got another couple of hours rain to look forward to but hopefully the wind will gradually reduce after this and the forecast is for 8 hours of sunshine tomorrow!   We will see…..

TB testing at 08.30am . I hope you're right !..Stumble Head has had squally S and W winds to 52 mph ..... and the sea is raging.

Let's hope the eight hours of sunshine falls in the morning
