Milder Tm spells with the odd Pm spell thrown in looks the order of the day, and maybe a Bartlett as well. So I'll plump for 6c and no repeat of the past 2 Decembers.
Brace yourself, the daily star has reported that 85mph gales are on their way!!

You should use DayBreak as your trusty reliable source for weather, it never fails!!!They really need to fill their papers with any 'old pap' they can - big chill temps of 44.6f (strange) in the north and 50f in the south which will be fractionally above average for the time of year - well done Daily Express for trying to justify your previous headlines!!

Daily Express has three types of headlines I've noticed over the last few months and it doesn't vary - 1. Health issues (and new scientific finds i.e. for cancer/lowering blood pressure etc. 2. Pensions/VAT/Tax 3. Extreme weather to effect the UK. and the headlines are larger than any other paper.
I hope when this weather (Siberian Freeze) doesn't come off (probability says it won't) that they get lots of mail/letters reminding them of the countless headlines they've had over the last couple of months. We used to get this paper back in the 70's thank god we don't now.
But surely you'd rather a big headline about the weather then one telling us that Ken Dodds Dads Dog's Dead???

Here here!
I think he relies on no one keeping copies of the drivel he regularly posts. Most of us have better ways to spend out time. I too thought I saw someone post an item from him several weeks ago making very little of the winter but I may be wrong.
If only he and others would publish their forecast, update it if they wish, but stop harping on about how wrong other forecasts are and studiously avoiding making any comment when their own goes wrong.

According to Daybreaks weather forecast this morning, we could be in for a very white december!
Sounds almost the same as last year - with the snowfalls almost at the same time (1st Dec and then mid-month), I really Can't see this happening but it wouldn't surprise me if we have another December on the cold/cool side of the CET as per many other years of the last decade or so.
