Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to find out the average height of the cloud over Southampton on 1st June, around 3.30/4pm. Can anyone tell me how I could find out this information?
Thanks!

He's amusing but no doubt the only reason the BBC signed him up is because he's "funny" and "entertaining". The weather forecast is not supposed to be "funny" or "entertaining", there's plenty of other stuff on TV for that. It's supposed to be informative! Just tell me about what's going to happen, not go rambling on about fairies and spaghetti and lawnmowers and stuff.
No doubt if someone just came on TV and, gasp, told us about the weather, people be "disenfranchised" or some tosh.
More dumbing down of our society.
Grr.
I'm not happy about the dumbing down of our society either but I hardly think that Dan Corbett talking about bbq's in his forecast can have any bearing on that! After half an hours tedious inane 'news' surely a bit of light-heartedness (after all the weather isnt life and death for most of us!) is rather refreshing, unsurprising really that he has so many fans.
We need more Dan's in the world, it would be a much better place.

Let me tell you now....they are likely not true.
I'm very pleased to hear it!
