It was quite a good'un wasn't it.
I'm just hungry for the storms of the mid 90s that would rage for hours and hours.

My knowledge from here on is limited. Do we have further potential today? I see we have CAPE available for a long time yet, but my radar is going oddly quiet to the SW.

Distant rumbles again ,darkening sky. These storms should have more CGs with them I expect given they are surface based I think!
No CGs spotted out of that cell that hit me. It was definitely all closer to the top of my head though!

I'm just hoping it kicks off a little more to the east, the new Worcester cell seems to have moved a little east though?
We still have the cirrostratus from 'El Gordo' covering our area and we need that to shift for the convection to kick off here.
Convection is churning along quite nicely in the Bristol channel, bodes well I feel. No chance of being a breeding ground and missing it! Definite NE tilt to it all too.

I think this could be an exceptional day for us. We seem to be on the pointy end of a conveyer belt!

Another cell hitting Worcester. Very loud, very close. Last rumble shook the windows.

I haven't seen any lightning yet but I can hear thunder every 20 seconds or so
There weren't any CGs as it passed over us. All ICs and it seemed like they were quite high, if that makes any sense. It'll go dark as hell, so you should see them easier lol.

Calmed down very suddenly. Was a fantastic two hours though!

Getting slaughtered here guys. Almost constant thunder, and lightning every 10-15 seconds. Like the end of the World!
South Worcester is my location btw....
Now the most intense rain I've seen outside the tropics. Madness.

I'm using 'council' radar, so I can't tell if it's anaprop or not just yet
