Hi all,
Forgive the rant here, but I can't believe I'm unable to find a few simple U-shaped brackets to fix my mast to the fence post. It's 25mm in diameter, and all I can get are 21.5mm and 22mm which are just too small.
It'll be the perfect spot - no obstructions, close to base unit etc, but for 2 days running I've been thwarted from setting it all up!!!
Grrrrr - rant over.
Smich
Try Halfords- Car Exhaust Clamps are very useful, just seen need 25mm try local exhaust centre might be able to use a hanger for a tail pipe. Use them for that sort of thing- Great for Scaffold Poles - otherwise flat sheet of metal ,bend round pipe and make your own.

Looks Good ,
Wonder on price etc,and if it will be available in the UK, Does not say if it links to a PC though. Possible pricing aroud the WS2300 bracket I suspect.

Any masts at this location are earthed, but then they also have Transmitter/receiver antennae on them.
Easiest way to do it, Buy an Earth rod off E~~~ or builders merchants I think I got mine from Wickes, Jubilee Clamp size of Mast and then run from the earth clamp to the mast Earth cable available from your local Electrical wholesalers - Must be the heavyduty cable, I use 2.5mm solid copper.Use the sleeved stuff.
The earth rod has a screw fitting on the top and the other end just tuck the wire under the Jubilee Clip and tighten.
But I also have lightning arrestors in the coaxial feed for the Radio stuff.Linked in the same way.I only have one metal mast ,the other two are Fiberglass so are insulated anyway(Old windsurfers have their uses)
Don't think there would be a problem with wireless units however It is something I would do on on a wired unit.

Hi Stephen,
for your info I have got a small UV Strenght detector that I bought last year I think. Got it for taking out with me with the Grandchildren
I think I bought it of that well known auction site. When I find it again I will send you details.
