Is not often living next to the Forth is a major bonus when it comes to snow

Has been a proper stream overhead for last 30 mins , looks a fair bit to go yet

I agree. Doesn’t happen very often. I need to get from Bo’ness to South Queensferry in the morning. Could be an interesting drive!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see an amber warning for many parts of central Scotland. Looking at some of the snow depth charts I think a red warning is a possibility - places such as Falkirk, Polmont, Bonnybridge, Denny, Grangenouth, Bo’ness, Linlithgow, Dunfermline, Rosyth, Cowdenbeath, Kilsyth and Cumbernauld could experience an event on the scale of the Beast from the East. Essentially anywhere south of south of Kincardine,  north of Moodiesburn, east of Lennoxtown and west of South Queensferry is in the firing line.

Was thinking that looking at the charts. I’m in Bo’ness and waking up that morning in 2010 was absolutely jaw dropping! My profile picture is my back garden fence LOL. Snow is often rubbish here but when conditions are just right it can pay off. Wee dusting at the moment though. Nice to see the sunshine, the dug was a bit disorientated!!

  3. It's getting chilly out ❄️❄️

Currently 0.4 degrees - and I know this because after blathering on about the weather for the last few winters the other half surprised me with a wee weather station ?  Only problem is I'm now being asked question like 'what's a dew point?', 'what does this number mean', 'is that humidity good?'  No idea pal, but I can tell you the temperature in the kitchen and outside at the north facing wall of the shed.
