    Been a long time since I've been in here... good to see the same posters and that use have kept this thread going!

    Must be snaw hunting time eh

    And thoroughly SEEK of the peeshy wet fife has been festooned with yest and this morning... floods everywhere roads closed

    Wee bit excitement building about a possible cold Halloween I see

    Right now I'll be glad to get a dry day the morn 2 sort my garden out!

    Wine pouring time... happy weekend folks! X

  2. Checking in cos it feels like october... from our new house complete with south facing garden! Which is great as it really looks great watchn the rain lashing down into it! As this is our first garden we had oorselves a wee bbq last nite even tho it was spittn with rain n bloody cauld lol!

    Weird today we got pelted at top end of kirkcaldy the day but nothn hardly where i am glenrothes until the last hour. The difference of two miles lol!

  5. Yuk yuk n more yuk.rain hammering down n wind howling round the building.

     

    Have not set foot outside the door aw day although wen lookn out the bak a while ago I realised stupidly id left the peg bag attached to the washn pole, probably last yr sometime!!

     

    Result is nae pegs n the things whirling about like a kite.

     

    Am one of those weirdo that

    don't peg they're undies oot n I mind there was defo a sock n a bra in the peg bag that had found its way into the washn basket

     

    So sumdy in fifes Gonny get a surprise the morn in their garden!!

  6. Crikey wat a nite n day of it! Wind is pickn up again here tho I managed to sleep quite a bit last nite so missed the lightening-poo

    Glad milkmaid is ok. Pals hubby had a lucky escape en route to Dundee at haft six this morning and his car was hit by a falling tree!

    Very lucky he walked away from it without a scratch!

    Stay safe awbdy. I luv weather but that this morning proper scared us!

  7. Rain started battering off window n can hear wind startn to blaw... am frozen which is not uncommon with the wind coming from this direction. I dnt think i have one windae that fits in its frame properly!!

    Ive had a gud one wi plenty food drink n laff with the family.

    Currently nine goddam degress outside with wind blawn a hoolie. Yuck.

    The racket is doing nothing to aid my wine heid...

    Phone call yest from family in wolverhampton in the morning. Pls cud i buy a sledge for the wee one for wen they come to visit for new yr. The bairns never seen snow etc etc n surely after a drive up north wel get sum.

    Aye rite. Half an hour later n theyd seen more snow in wolverhampton than weve dun in two yrs lol

  10. None snow here yet either boohoo. Reckn il be lucky to see much if it all. However have abandoned plans to go for out tea just in case lol. Pizza ordered wine poured lampost duty commencing lol.

  11. Just back from a fab girly weekend in galashiels at a friends house. This annual event has seen us travel there in some crazy weather but yestrday we were treated to sum glorious sunshine that made the fields and leaves the most spectacular golds orange n bronzes.

    Treated on the return journey to the same outlook but with some spectacular idiots on the a7 who clearly won their driving licence in a lucky bag.

    Not even gonny mention thedetour via linlthgow cos of a spillage on the m90...

    Anyhoo bak hame in glenrothes theres a definate chill in the air that matches the chill in my body tryn to get rid of the alcohol.............
