well the boys school is closed so snow day I know this has not been great for many, this is much better for me on the edge of Sittingbourne than we got in 2010, hopefully more will get in on the act as the week moves along

Cant remember last time i had powder snow.
you can walk through and just dosent turn to slush on impact i only ever seem to get wet snow

The key is the wind direction we have been getting ENE and scattered showerss sunshine changed to NE now real dark clouds rolling in to Sittingbourne now, and if you run the radar through you can see the difference in buildup, keep the faith

So silly question of the day will the snow covering drop the the temps so if its supposed to be 1c overnight will it drop below freezing because of the snow?

Hi everyone great day so far!, if you look at the radar there is another band moving up from Troyes the same path all this has taken any chance of that making it way to our region as well?

Have done two degrees at university of kent in canterbury..... And have worked there for six years..... Its not very snowy down here but hopefully tomorrow will be our fifth time lucky?

can someone answer my dumb question please why is the NE radar have the ppn moving in a different direction to the wind direction being shown on XCW(or can someone advise a better wind direction website) thanks in advance
