MENTAL SNOW in Central London. Driving snow, can't see the buildings across the river. MENTAL.
-
Snowing/sleeting in Central London for at least the last hour. Not settling at all. Looks totally grim out there
-
Overcast and bitterly cold in London Victoria at the moment. Should've worn gloves brrrrrrrrr
-
Tiny schnizzley bits of dandruff falling in South West London. Went to Waitrose in Wandsworth just is and it was the busiest I have ever seen & everyone was sooooo grumpy.
We need mega snow or sunshine! This schnizzle business won't do at all.
-
Just arrived home to a sad & sorry Wandsworth with no lying snow, no falling snow, just a bit of slush on car windscreens. *sob!
On a positive note, our flight landed ok in LHR with just 90 mins delay. And there was a beautiful lounge in Agadir :-)
-
They do have a lounge, i remember using it with a priority pass years ago. Your shinny BA card won't get you access unless your flying CE.
Are you serious? Oh my god I could kiss you
-
Jeeeeeeeeepers the Heathrow info is scaring the pants off me. I just don't want to be stuck in Agadir airport for hours on end. There isn't even a BA *lounge* <despair>

Coast no I'm flying IN to heathrow not out. I don't really want to go home so I really don't mind if there's going to be disruption to flights/cancellations. I'd just rather know in advance :-)
-
Ha! It's T5...

I am flying into heathrow at 4.30 Saturday afternoon. What do you think, will I get an extended holiday? :-)
-
High winds in SW London now.
It snowed on & off all day in Blackfriars, central London, but nothing stuck at all
-
Come ON SW London...I have 3 flakes huddled together on my roof and that's it!
-
At the risk of sounding all IMBY and spoilt, what's the situation with London? I am seeing conflicting reports and there is nary a flake to be seen out the window
-
V dark skies and bigger flakes now but still not really landing?! Snow is going up and down in the sky! (Wandsworth)
-
Few flakes meandering down in Wandsworth SW London

Site communication from our office:
Dear Leatherhead colleagues,
The Met Office are forecasting snow overnight tonight, continuing to tomorrow morning and possibly throughout Friday. Gritting will happen on site tonight and we will continue to monitor conditions. We do not currently anticipate issues with accessing site tomorrow and expect Leatherhead to be open as normal.

A few flakes blowing around at Clapham Junction
-
Tiny weeny grains in Wandsworth.
-
Very light snow flurry here in zone2 of South East London, nice to see
Leaped up a bit too quickly to see if there's any in SW London....no snow, but I am seeing stars!
-
Come on South West London!! We're close to Croydon and Mr Yamkin, if it's snowing there it's not far from us!

Just got in after a looooooooong night, and i am proud to announce my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, we have named him Noah, 8lb on the nose, she had a tough time as baby decided to wrap the cord around himself a couple of times, so forceps were needed, then she had to have a bit of minor surgery, but everyone is ok now, and i got to spend 1 1/2 hours with my newborn just me and him
time to catch some ZZZzzzzzzz's now, hope everyone has a great weekend, and that those in mourning and sorrow, find some peace and comfort, hopefully my good news will help them to feel a bit better
All of life is on this forum. Rothar mor an t-saol as we say in Ireland (the great circle of life). Many congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your baby Noah. Beautiful name! Wishing you every health & happiness xx
