Hi
I've got a LaCrosse Rain Gauge and it's been ok for a couple of years but now it's starting to use a lot batteries.
I've used 4 AA Energizer Lithium batteries in 3 months, But it's always the same battery side (Where the Batteries Go)
Has anybody else had this problem and fixed it?

I would like some advise on the best thing to use as a sun shield to stop me getting direct sun light on my temp sensor.

It is raining very very hard, and also lots of thunder but not a lot of lighting

Ian, it's started to rain here now, and we have just had some lighting
But yes the temp dropped big style in about 2 hrs

Gone very black here in North Staffordshire, newcastle under lyme, and the wind has pick up big style in the last 30 mins,
I can now hear thunder storms in the distance
I think it's coming from the cheshire area

But over the last hour the cloudy have come and it' very black looking towards cheshire
