Met office is now showing heavy snow to my area from 15,00hrs Sunday is was showing as rain/sleet 2 hours ago. Wonder what charts they have seen for this
I'm confused, it doesn't take much. I've just had a look at BBC/met office etc who aren't really showing any snow just sleet for west mids area, yet the charts here from what I gather are showing something may happen. Are they just being cautious? Or are we getting over excited and hoping? Sorry again for the basic question
Not heard much regarding the SSW lately, are the charts beginning to show its effects, or could they still, or did it not have the impact we thought it would. Would be interesting to know your thoughts
I've been nosing at the charts and reading posts, just wandered, based on the charts what chance, percentage wise people think there is of having another significant cold/snow period
He that makes sense..long day!
Hi all, Is there a consensus on here as to which charts and runs are the most reliable. I'm trying to get to grips with them and it would be useful to know what everyone thinks...
I love weather watching (particularly snowy weather) and have been following this forum this winter. I have learnt a lot from everyone even though you can be a bit scary to newcomers. Anyway my question regarding charts is at what timescale can you pin the charts down to a definate forecast and has there been a time when the weather has well and truly defied what the charts have forecast.
Apologies that this is a basic question I very new.
