Lovely morning here too which is fine to see as the forecasted overnight/morning fog did not materialise. Hope that the the same can be said for the rest of the week (and beyond) as the first sun forecasted to appear here is next Friday following a week of grey skies, single figures and light rain.
Anyhoo, enjoy today's pic as it looks as if it will be the last for a while!

Anyone know why all of a sudden my pics are saving on thumbnail size? What have I done and what do I need to do? (asking for a friend)

Just heading down to Fife now for my niece's wedding. Looks like they wont be hanging around long for outside photies etc. Hope roads are ok?
Not sure. Overnight wasn't too bad in this area. Maybe if you log into Fife Jammers site you will probably get a clearer overall picture? The sun has just made an appearance here as I type! Enjoy your day!

Hi y'all...Yes it's me ( again) - come to join in your weather discussions after the summer which wasn't!! I think, possibly, the lack of heat and very little sun is one of the main problems we are finding ourselves with now. As with SS, lawn problems in abundance! Mainly a moss problem though. Can't get over how thick it had become and far too much to deal with. Almost complete cover and felt like we were walking on a 4" sponge. So we took the whole lot off after scarifying 3 times and started again. We then reseeded a couple of times, spread over with some topsoil and now it is back to a lush, green lawn without a weed in sight! If this type pf weather keeps up though it probably wont last long.
As KW was saying, this part of Fife didn't suffer as badly as expected. Thankfully the rain side of things was much less. We had a bit of wind damage in that it uprooted our buddleia tree which fell across and blocked the top of the drive. We managed to saw and lop the branches off though so ready for the tip on the next decent day.
Hope this post finds everyone well for whatever this winter presents us with!

A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Fife.
Heavy rainfall has been forecast during Monday in this area, which could lead to a risk of flooding from surface water and rivers during the day.
Oh joy!

Not sure but it looks kinda like a streamer situation setting up over Fife from the sea at the mo? Had some flurries which are all of a wintery nature and laying on the 4" we aleady had which hasn't really thawed much at all here. They are funnelling in but not a lot of oomph behind them!
