Looking at them Sussex looks to be in for a good shout generally.

Not to bad in Crawley today. Not much right overhead and convection seemed to circle around crawley but still lots of distant stuff. Best I've had for 2 years
-
Well.... 1 little cloud fart and that looks to be it. Tuesday looks the best day
-
Looking ok for potential this weekend but I'm more looking to Monday to Wednesday. Tuesday looks the most widespread potential at the moment. All to play for which I think is the best potential for some years as we have an easterly component to it all

Looking good for storm potential in the next month or so. More potential for more events unlike recent years.

Not looking likely for any one in the south now. Rain band is not moving far enough north and pivoting east. So it's a no go today :-(
-
Distant rumbles and flashes here in West Sussex. Could actually get my first storm in 1.5 years!

Wow. The Belgium storm is amazing.

I think the further East you are in the South East the less chance you have
-
It looks as though most of England will get a chance at some point of the day or evening. There is a chance of homegrown more in the midlands through to the East in the late afternoon to evening. I still do reckon it will be pretty hit and miss. Loved to be proved wrong though! :-)

First proper potential for a decent storm in Sussex this year and I'm in Benidorm for a stag do. Doh!
-
I just see heavy rain. I can't see it intensifying
-
Kent clipper it is then. Heavy rain will eventually move up for a bit in Sussex but can't see how it will ramp up through Sussex. Another bust day/night again me thinks
-
Not even a drop of rain in my part of the world for the last 4 days. Doesn't look much for the rest of the week thunderstorm wise
-
Doesn't look great for Sussex again
-
It is veering W.NW.Isle Of Wight westwards it is heading and loosing intensity. Another bust day for Sussex :-(
-
It is looking increasingly likely we won't get much in Sussex over tonight and tomorrow. I would love to be proved wrong. But I just don't see it
-
Not really looking so good for this week now
-
MetO not really going for anything else apart from heavy pulses of rain. Too Early to tell of course but MetO normally pick something up if widespread thundery activity
-
A bit too late for any real convection to get going. A bust today me thinks
-
Clouds building up quite nicely in West Sussex. Heavy hail shower just passing over.
-
Lightning from the cells just off the Sussex coast
-
I saw a confused Bee buzzing around my back garden. Don't think if he was sure if it's spring or still winter !

A very heavy shower just passed through Crawley. It woke me up!

Not too bad a night for West Sussex. It ended up all a bit further West. Certainly not a Kent clipper! Lightning pretty much all night. Best storms here for a good 5 years
