Well after a day of snow and hardly any settling the temp has dropped to freezing and the snow is finally starting to settle! Will probably die out soon now .
-
Been snowing here in West Norfolk/ Cambridgeshire all morning since around 7.30ish but far to wet for it to settle properly, seems such a waste but nice to see it falling.
-
Started to snow here in Emneth West Norfolk around 20mins ago, nothing to heavy or settling but nice to see some nice sized flakes blowing in the wind.
-
Alittle sleet here in Emneth West Norfolk.
-

After a day of light rain on and off here in Emneth West Norfolk it's finally turned to snow! Probably won't lead to much but very nice to see some flakes blowing around.

Got a total of 4" here, that's the deepest total in over 25 years. On average, everywhere does significantly better that imby, being the crappest location in the country.
Sorry what is your location, doesn't come up on my mobile. The fact it's so flat here in the fens doesn't seem to help and East Norfolk catches the snow showers coming off the North Sea a lot more than here.

Posted this the other day, which is a repeat of what I said several days ago, and is looking like being spot on. Same old same old.
Parts of Norfolk and Suffolk got pasted in January, didn't get anywhere near as much here on the West / Norfolk, North/ Cambs border.

Feels like a spring day outside now! Lovely in the sun here in West Norfolk.
-
With the temperatures predicted any snow that does fall will surely turn slushy and start to melt, could do with it being a couple of degrees colder.
-
Temperature has dropped 2 degrees here in west Norfolk since 2pm during the rain, down to 3.3c now.
-
Rain, sleet, snow, blowing a gale, all in the space of ten minutes here in Wisbech, biking home from work will be fun.
-
Woke up to a good covering here in west Norfolk after going to bed when it was raining!
-
Heavy rain now in West Norfolk let the thaw begin
-
Flakes getting bigger here in west Norfolk with a sugar coating on the floor and getting heavier, temps risen to -0.3C
-
Some flakes starting to blow around in the wind here in West Norfolk, current temp -0.8C

Still snowing here in Emneth West Norfolk, very light now but an excellent covering overnight, very pleased!

Me too . . . missed out earlier in the week when Norwich got hit and now again . . oh well cant complain, going to leave for work in half hour and driving should be pretty easy with our 1cm max
4cm in Emneth, just been out with the tape measure
-
Darker blues getting closer on the radar so might start properly soon . . . . greens still a long way away. Just a shame I have to work tonight but at least if it shows properly then driving will be more interesting :-)
Drive carefully, starting to come down more steady now, would just love a good covering by dawn.

Outwell here so howdy neighbour
😄 Howdy indeed! Just checked outside, mainly light but coming down still.
-
Not that far from you and if it carries on like it has been then there will be no risk of my local schools closing . . but will continue to hope for at least a covering
I'm in Emneth, looked like it was getting going 30 mins ago, eased off now!
