Well I'm not expecting anything down here throughout this entire cold spell, it's going to be hell down here, whilst everyone else in the entire universe gets seventeen foot of snow, including the inner core of the sun, we'll probably get seagulls flying out of the sky stealing peoples doughnuts

Just started raining here, temperature has dropped to 3ºc, but dew point has risen to 0.7ºc.
Was always going to be on the warmer side due to location, so hopefully others will manage to get some snow settling, I would be happy to just see a few flakes to be honest!!

try get a vid rach? is it close to the coast or further out to sea?
close to the coast just of the sea not this 1 but there is footage of others like it on you tube we may have a big storm coming cos its been non stop lightning inside this 1 cloud for coming on an hour im about 8 miles away from brighton if thats any help right on the coast.

hi just seen something very very odd and was wondering if sny of you have seen the same, i live in peacehaven but looking towards newhaven there is a cloud, just 1 cloud that is full of lightning, no thunder and no lightning anywhere els other then inside this cloud any ideas
its still non stop lightning in this 1 cloud folks its really spooky

this is really scary right on the coast...just lost the double glazing on my balcony windows...the noise damn near gave me a heart attack. now just have one sheet of plate glass for a wall...on a south facing clifftop...lol...the joys of living by the sea!
im in telscombe cliffs aswell and yes pretty scarey im sure my windows are going to blow in must admit i am pooping it some what

pouring down in peacehaven im sure there is bits of wet snow in it aswell, just got drenched going up shop now got to go out again to get littlen from playgroup,hears the question do i take the car or boat

hi all,im new to posting but not new to met weather, was always in the model forcasting forum but this one so much better and alot friendlier.
john i find the way you explain the models alot more easier to follow so i thank you for that but also like you i lost my dad 2 years ago very suddenly and have not got no where near over the trauma so know exactly how you are feeling,but once again thank you for explaining the models in a simple way for people like me to understand.
i am also quite worried about the upcoming weather hear in peacehaven on the south coast on top of a hill exposed to the elements think i should say goodbye to all my fence panels now not just the ones that have already blown down
will let you no how many more come crashing down-
