About 2cms on the ground at 7am this morning, suspect that around 5 cms fell over night.
Cloudly start gave way to a sunny morning, with temperatures rising to around 5 deg c before clouding over again at about 11am.
This brought heavy snow showers with large flakes, although a bit on the warm side. Showers have continued all afternoon, although became sleet and is now rain.
Cheers,
Darryl

Slightly misty start, clearing quite quickly.
Cold but sunny day with a very light wind - around 3/4 deg max.
Getting cloudier and colder as the sun went down.
Still a reasonable amount of ice around from semi-melted snow on Monday.

ditto - at least it gets added to the snow league, i'm glad i'm not compiling that today!
Sorry for being dense....I'm a bit new.
Is posting a report here all that's needed to get in the snow league?

Stopped snowing in Macclesfield. Looks like the temperatures are not low enough to keep the snow that's settled - everything's going slushy.

About 30 minutes of heavy snow here. I'd say about 3 or 4 cm fell, we've got 1 or 2cm settled.

We've got more snow again in Macclesfield today. It's been snowing for the last few hours, sometimes heavy, with about one cm managing to settle.
My latest pics of the peak district are here:
