Depending where you are in Lincolnshire. I'm Lincolnshire but about 10miles from Cambridgeshire border and it's lovely here constant booming thunder. Currently sat outside listening to it waiting for tea to cook. Think I might be heading inside soon if that to the South tracks north

I'm currently sat in my garden in Spalding, very booming thunder I would say from my east no rain here as yet. Fingers crossed for when it gets dark that we have a nice light display

Looks like the SE could be in for a autumnal-type lightning show in the channel later tonight!! A relatively hefty batch of showers should move in on the gentle cyclonic flow, and push further inland gradually. Fingers crossed!
How far inland do you think they will get

At 5:45am hubs and I decided the heat had finally beaten us and got up. Our room hadn't got past 32c all night and it was raining a bit *heads into garden*
Had bit of bobs of rain/thunder but even after enough water to fill a small pool I had the worst headache and slept through it. I am feeling quite ill atm.
I know the feeling and now a full day's work ahead

There is a cell near to Cambridge which may just hit Spalding. Not the most electrically active so far but it could develop further.
Doesn't matter need the rain

I expect storms across Lincolnshire later this evening into the night, including Lincoln itself. I may be heading into Lincolnshire myself.
I'm currently in the south of Lincolnshire town called Spalding. Debating whether I need to pop back to work and water plants again outside (I work on plant nursery) or we going get some rain in next hour or 2

One furthest to the right looks to be veering off to the right slightly. Newcastle should perhaps take heed. Bet there’s some decent hail in that thing.
Got a close eye on that lot approaching the Eastbourne area. Looks to be pockets of new development around it towards the Brighton area now.
Do you think our area is in for chance buddy

A high of 37c here in Peterborough, and many others across the Fens reaching the same with Cambridge at 38c.
seems the rain shower didn’t have much impact on the maximum recorded.
I'm in Spalding so not far from you. Big problems at Peterborough train station with overhead wires damaged due to heat. I work in glasshouses and got sent home at 2 thank god

It's just reached me in South Lincolnshire. Lightning frequently and big bang's of thunder. Quite heavy rain as well. Do I need to unplug electronic things from plug sockets????
