yeah definitely close to where I live, Tenterden isn't that far away but if it was at Tenterden I think the people there would either die from fright or go deaf if it was that loud where I am

yes I thought so too, it was just so sudden and was afraid my pc was going to turn off from it, lost my wi-fi again as well but not as long at the first storm

This was the storm that cut my wi-fi, nowhere as frequent lightning and thunder as the one yesterday morning I recorded, but still some great thunder

that cell over london looks to be a cluster cell, bet people underneath that is getting a pounding

even though this was 40mins ago, this hook-like on the radar is something u see with a tornado, I know its not but gives the same picture u see with it with supercells

I can confirm there has been thunder right now in Ashford, also had a torrential downpour 2 hours ago at lunch time I thought it was hail but it was giant raindrops pounding our titles and even got some moss off our roof from the impact it was giving

Really thought there would be about 50 new pages after this event that just happened Like others have said around the southeast area, there was constant rumbles of thunder for about an hour or two not giving a break between 5 to 10 seconds. I was awoken by it but I didn't start recording until the flashes came, I've recorded 30 mins of RAW footage of the storm as I didn't know how much storage it was going to take but I believe it's good enough, there was a few more lightning strikes after the video including 1 final one directly ABOVE my house as if the storm knew I was recording and wanted to say goodbye. It sounded like the storm hired a storm boxer that released booming thunder by punching my house as it vibrated quite a lot. But after that it just stopped, no more thunder or lightning just rain Btw the storm becomes more active at 7:00, there is lightning at 2:17 and again at 5:16 though unfortunate timing when i opened my window a bit more to get more of a view

seems to be a southern/ south west event rather then it hitting the far southeast as that cell that was coming to us is dissipating fast as it went over the water.
