    I got the earlier model of this 18 months ago and it's still going strong. Great for beginners like me. Does everything you need and smartly produces wind chill, dew points and the like.

    The computer programme is great and easy to use and plots graphs and averages for you ready to upload to forums, blogs or web sites.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  2. Evening all.

    Just got back from work. My colleague tells me that we had a snow grains shower here about 8.30 this morning. Then as I was walking home there were some small flakes floating about in the air not settling or anything but hey its still snow. I'll keep watching the lamposts and the CCTV to see what happens through tonight.

    report from near Stourbridge West Midlands

    Well the snow that was sticking to my car just after midnight last night didn't really come to much.

    started snowing here shortly after midday. Has generally remained light although it did try to stick for a few minutes. Looks like we will getting flurries at least throughout the afternoon.

    I'll come back later if it amounts to anything worth reporting.
