[Storm & Convective Discussion - 16/07/15 onwards]

We have expected lightning in the Bolsover/Chesterfield area, hopefully should be able to get video and photo tonight. If i do I'll upload them here or on another thread.

[Storm chasing 2015]

Anyone going storm chasing UK this year, and if so when and where? I'll be chasing with my dad primarily in the derbyshire area, but I hope to see some other chasers out there!

[way to monitor a weather station through a tablet computer?]

I'm hoping to storm chase with my dad in the summer, and I would like to measure wind speeds, temperatures, pressure drops and rain, but we won't have the space for a laptop, so I need to know if there are any apps that I can use to monitor and record my weather station. The equipment is listed below:

 

Acer Iconia one 7 tablet,

An OTG cable for connecting usb things to my tablet,

the weather station is one from maplins, a £50 one,
