Thunderstorm here now with lightning every 30 seconds.

Some rumbles of thunder here with some rain too.

It's been raining here for much of the day, with thunder/lightning this evening. Got very warm in the afternoon, especially after a 15 minute sunny spell (came as a surprise!) and the humidity is great. Currently it's once again overcast (has been for hours now), raining and there's the odd rumble of thunder. Temperature? 17.5C - too warm! :?

Rain rain rain. At last...

Clear blue skies here as the sun sets.
-
Sunny.

Despite what the BBC said two days ago I've had very little effect from this low pressure system today. Might have some rain tonight.
Nice day today actually!

Dry as a bone here!!! :?: :!:

Strange - here it's warm, dry and very bright. Clouds are gathering though, but as yet no rain or anything like it. Gales? Nope, nothing like that either!!

Over the past two nights I've had 5.9C and 5.7C... tonight I'm expecting much the same... about 5.5C
-
I'm colder tonight... temps droping quite quickly now here.
BBC:
"Sunday night
Becoming dry, clear and chilly with a ground frost in places and a few mist patches, more especially in the south. Turning cloudier in the northwest."

Sennybridge must be the coldest place (night time) in the UK on average.......I would think. Its not far from here, about 15-20 miles We're also a frsot hollow here, it can drop as low as -14c, thats the lowest Ive seen, in 2001 I think.
Shawbury December 2000 got down to -15 on two consecutive nights...

Shawbury (official) weather station recorded a minimum of -6.6C last night... that's the coldest so far this Winter and I'm pretty sure that it beats any minimum set last Winter too.
It also beat Sennybridge's minimum for last night too...
