Snow quite heavily here but not sticking, according to BBC weather app turning to rain late tonight though

Just woke up, not trying to rub it in but was surprised to see it snowing heavily, got just over an inch atm, wasn't expecting this so nice surprise haha

BLOODY GOOD starting from Friday night then the first round of Snow Saturday .

  

Hi Chris, good to see another local in the Wales forum.

 

I'll put my neck on the line here (and I'm a relative novice) but as things stand at the moment our chances of seeing falling snow in this area seem around 80%, settling snow around 79%, a significant event around 50-55% and a severe event around 10%.

 

Those percentages reflect only the first of the slider lows and not any further systems that could add to whatever lying snow we have.

Cheers guys!, I can't lie I am really quite excited, but I am trying to keep it all in check as I know things can go wrong, I am obsessed with this forum during the winter months. I'm an addict and I have a problem

Total newbie, I wish I could read the charts properly. As a rough estimate as thing stand (I know the charts change all the time) what would you say the snow chances for my area would be?
