Tn9 I can echo that , Winter was a snoozefest, just seemed to be one windy storm after another, great if that's your cup of tea but , not for me. Even the mad thread fizzled out as they realised just how bad Winter 23/24 was! Oh well , looking forward to November already

As someone mentioned earlier in the thread , you can tell its been a very dull Winter by the lack of posts in these threads.

Lauren Did'nt feel like Spring when walking the dogs yesterday , felt colder than our so called Winter this year
-
Just as I was gearing myself up for Spring , 2°c and heavy fog on the way in to work today.
-
Heavy rain followed by a bit of sleet last night around 9pm, probably all the Winter I will see this year !

I must confess that, IMO, The Day After Tomorrow was one of the crappiest films I've ever seen!

The best thing for tonight into tomorrow is to expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised amid anyone has a dusting of snow. At the moment the front to the south is likely to stay off the coast and the snow to north is likely to die out before reaching the likes of Cambridgeshire/Norfolk etc. However in real time things may not pan out this way.
Taking any opportunity to get outside of the office in MK , you never know

Popped my head into the NW regional thread and was very surprised to see some saying that the couple of cm's they have is the most they've had since 2010. Makes me realise we've not had it too bad down here in comparison.
Think they have it worse than us to some extent.
