Nowhere near as bad down here, but it is picking up a lot now.
The MetO have me down for 50 - 57mph gusts tomorrow, that's the highest speeds forecasted this season for my part of the region. I can't see my station beating that rogue 55mph gust I had last week though! No Condor Liberation sailing tomorrow then!!!!!

Still coming down in Morley, Leeds

Looks like western areas of the South are likely to miss out on any further showers or storms and it's all now confined to Eastern coasts.
Not a particularly active day though - I remember Sept and Oct last year we had lots of smaller storms all along the south coast. This year it seems to be the midlands and (as usual) Lincs and East Anglia.
Grrrr. Woof.
Since when...You have not done too bad this year..
-
Bah i see Lincs trying to get in on the action again!!!!!!! Lol

WITH Flash Bangs Thunderfog and Surreys Lime showers it's been interesting so far!!!!

I cannot recall any forecasts showing a storm risk outside of the south-eastern third of the UK so not sure why the disappointment from people outside of this area. For those in this area I think the risk is still there, although I would be inclined now to think that the main risk will be to the SE of London, more especially the likes of Kent, East Sussex and possibly Essex. Still the chance of a surprise further north-west but less likely IMO.
I wonder if there will be any thunder in Derby
Wishful thinking eh!!!!

Cracking storm in Scarborough at the moment. Constant thunder... hail over half an inch across and serious amount of rain... Car alarms going off on my street!
Great day for the Goldwing parade!!!

Hopefully no storm surge due.10 Flood alerts and 45 Flood warnings been issued for parts east coast at risk Some on the west even been issued. This due spring tides and storm which bringing higher waves with the wind direction and its strength has possibility to test or breach defences.
-
Really hoping that lot over the dales keeps its strength as it's heading this way.

If you look closely at that last funnel picture it looks like there is some water being brought up underneath it. Could that be a waterspout caught there?
Actually it is even clearer on picture 2. The thinner funnel is a waterspout as it is clearly sucking up water. Great captures.
Was Going to say pic 2 is better

It's more humid out there now.
