I keep seeing distant flashes but I can't seem to pick up on the radar where they are coming from?

Just seen two distant flashes from my garden. Yey!

Can confirm sheet lightning about every 30 seconds towards bristol channel from west mendip ,nothing of note showing on radar though .
theres every possibility it could kick of later but i,v a nagging feeling its going to be more of a central or northern event ,but still plenty of time ,it as gone very muggy ,i,m not staying up but leaving windows open anything worth a peep will wake me ,but certainly all later than what was forecast .cheers .ps must say that many a time in the past going back years these set ups after a slight hick up could produce later in the night ,our trigger is moving in from the west ,its lurking about but time as usual will tell ,great posts tonight keep em coming please .
Here's hoping we get woken with a bang. The way it's looking and feeling at the moment we may have a completely dry night!

Dark sky is coming closer. I am sat in the garden in shorts and a vest top. It was far to warm in the house. Got a nice brew hubby and dogs to keep me company. Let's have this.....
Fingers crossed we get to see a gurt lush storm here.....

do you not think we will get anything?Storms look well scattered and not particularly intense down here but midlands north, if the bbc is right, is where we want to be tonight.

I am out in town tonight so if anything kicks off I shall try and get some sea front photos. It's really humid now right? I'm sure it wasn't this bad earlier. X
I'm actually just down the road but everyone recognises w-s-m. Yes I think it has definitely got more humid in the past hour or so. I have some great clouds around me!

Where do you think we are seeing the lightening from? Reckon it will come our way?
