  1. Thats exactly my point.....i never said it was recent!!!!! We are changing now at a faster non linear rate since then. And that is a fact, not a opinion.
  2. *Stormforce~beka* Chicxulub crater......climate hasn't changed so rapidly world wide since then
  3. Folk should now just accept, we sit in one of the biggest oceans, with one of the strongest maritime currents at a latitude the same as Moscow in a climatic change period the speed of which the world hasn't seen since that certain asteroid hit. More energy in the system will mean more cloud, more rain. Blue skies could become as rare as snow soon.
  4. Thankfully the wind has pegged back the temps for what could have been a bit uncomfortably warm so early in the year.
  5. The use of the word "all" in that sentence is certainly incorrect
  6. Certainly not looking forward to such a mild weekend at this time of year, not what you could call seasonal at all.
  7. You certainly are not the only one mate, many feel the same way. I liken it to staring up the steep slope of a dark mountain this time of year, June the 20/21st is the peak. The next 12 or so weeks for so many are the worst of the year by far, i easily find this time of year the most depressing by far.
  8. A near enough perfect Easter Saturday and possibly Sunday coming, warm plenty of sunshine and certainly no need to put the central heating on!! Monday not so good i admit.
  9. I find it fascinating how folk are all so different, just change the word cold to hot and that statement is exactly how i feel. Totally the opposite but in many ways just the same!
  10. Dangerous55019 I find this time of year akin to starting a long climb up a steep mountain, the summer solstice is the summit, over that its far easier journey, the worst is over and the journey to better less harsh light levels has begun. Nothing beats those long Autumnal shadows when they first appear.
  11. With out doubt A. Mainly because we haven't had a Winter yet!
  12. B87 You have....that is my point entirely. London is not the whole UK.
  13. B87 You did say extreme.....it is not 11 months of extreme, that is fact
  14. In the case of Summer i totally agree. B87 But we haven't had 11 months.
  15. Definitely not!! Its 23th of March!!! We need seasons....not just our preferred ones!
  16. Everyone on this site is though....not a fully sane one on here!
  17. *Stormforce~beka* First day this year i've had to close the blind on my car sun roof, just to warm!!....not happy as it makes the place i spend most of my time very dark!..We are all so different aren't we?
  18. Nice one! Out of every negative a positive can be found
  19. At least with these temps most will not be complaining about the cost of having their heating on for so long! Every cloud.
  20. how many densely populated areas in the world are on a island subject to to the Atlantic and one of the biggest weather streams on the planet??.....climate change is only going to reduce the sunshine stats, more heat, more energy on the body of water we sit in, more cloud. It will happen. We are not going to end up with a Mediterranean climate weather wise, that is certain.
