First time I have ever had to do this at home, unplugging PC. Seriously concerned about this storm.
Don't be. It's all c-c lightning.

The storm crossing the east Channel has run out of gas. Will the same happen for the ones further west?
Yep, they're degrading I reckon.

Cannot remember the last time I watched an actual BBC weather forecast. They will end up looking stupid when next week is over. I presume we will see amber and possibly red warnings from Meto in the days ahead. The BBC will use these and then forecast mainly dry a few flurries and a temp of 4c. Embarrassing
Or, it could be chilly with a few snow flurries and the 'experts' predicting Armageddon will yet again be left scratching their heads after yet another last minute downgrade.
If I were a betting man......

Foggy, icy start. Mild and clear by late pm.

A misty day with a droplet density of about 50000 per spherical inch.

Clear blue sky. 22C already poolside!

Just got soaked on the way back from a campaign briefing. Haven't seen rain like it for a long time.

Degrading rapidly as it crosses the EC. Thick fog over most of S England too. Will it burn off in time for home grown storms?
