Never mind. It is all rain. I can see puddles on the flat roof.
Temperature: -0.7 °C
Dew Point: -2.0 °C
Wetbulb Temperature: -1.1 °CIt's peeing down!
Amazing that it's rain, although Wareham is only just above sea level, if it was 50m higher probably still be snow.

Some of the most historically largest UK snowfalls have occurred in the South West, it really is the jackpot zone when the conditions are right.

53 members on here vs only 20 in the MAD thread. Been very quiet over there. Seems no one wants to talk about the models whilst the radar is showing weather porn.
There's only about 10 members in my East Anglia and North London thread, lol. Nothing today in East Hertfordshire, but can't complain as had 4 different decent snowfalls this winter so far.

yes we definitely do seem to have done well here. I don't think it's letting up any time soon either. Been going since at least 5.30am when my other half woke me up after he looked out of the window to it all white outside.
I think Stevenage has done best in England for this snowfall :-)

Oh hello fellow Buntinfordonian! Yes, the A10 just south of buntingford near the Westmill turn off gets massive snow drifts as snow blows off neighbouring fields. The worst I saw since living here (almost 25 years) is March 2013 - police had to close a lane.
There was a photo I found between Buntingford and Cottered in the 1963 winter (I think), where the snowdrifts were as high as the telephone posts (15 feet plus).

Yeah, I thought my sensor was possibly out, but a few others are seeing between -3.5 & similar to mine. We tend to get a lot colder than surrounding areas. Buntingford is about 120m above sea level which helps and is very close to Reed, the highest point in Herts at about 170m.
Reed, just up the road from us gets great snowfall and big snow drifts across the A10 road. Must have been amazing there during the famous 1947 and 1963 winters.

-4.6C now here. Everything is white outside from thick frost.
Since moving out of London, it's amazes me how cold it gets here considering it's only 20 miles North of London.

A few years ago rain was forecast and snow started to fall and got heavier and caused chaos in the Croydon area
I remember that night, was that the Thames Snow Streamer where South London received a foot of snow in one night?

Precipitation really picking up over London.....
Seen this numerous times before and I'm sure it's to do with London's heat island effect.
