Lots of thunder here near Finnigley airport, right above me

Seeing as though it never seemed to like my mp4 vids earlier I have snapshot the lightning the best I can, fascinating when you slow it down frame by frame

This was the storm that was over Scunthorpe way last night around 8pm.
Saw lots of flashing for several hours until it was dark even though it was a long way off

Actually you might be right, its going to be down the left of donny. Can see lightning from where i am, just no thunder

I am in Doncaster and whats just passing over is dark skies and a bit of rain.

Also seen a post on facebook showing the result of a tornado passing through Widnes

Red zone looks to be odds on for some big storms with that large one heading from Nottingham area and more are forming to the S of it now around Leicester and Coventry
The amber zone looks like it may see some action but the showers within these areas look to be weaker and less organised.
That red zone is right over us now at Doncaster,

That one thats just been over Newark is now heading straight towards me, can here lots of distant thunder while sat on the back of the truck with the ldogs

Absoletely lagging it down here now with flashes and thunder to the East of me
