    Night everyone , wow that was the craziest storm I've seen in decades!!!! Well it got the season off to a flying start..I think the show is over form me so off to bed..Good luck to those further west of me.

    I'm looking forward to the small hours..(I live on a hill in Saltdean just 5-6 miles east of Brighton Pier) My bedroom window faces South-east so I'm hoping for a distant light show if nothing else.

    I was prob a bit alarmist there. Looks like a rain curtain but had a waterspout appearance . I guess 20 miles or so?

    Mmmm yes coldish shower for me in a while then radar watching. I'm right on the South Coast just east of Brighton and cloud cover increasing here now. Might be a long night!!
