Warm front seems to be running from bromsgrove through northampton!!well south of where the gfs was showing over the last few runs!!!if there was only more heavier precipitation then i reckon a lot of us would have been more surprised as to how far south the cold air is at the moment!!
its closer than you hope Sheikhy as we are in Hinckley and its rain, dew pt 0.4 !!

very heavy snow, looks straight coming down like its 'rain' so think its a very wet heavy sleet. Falling from trees here now too, dew -0.1

It will be heartbreaking if this turns to rain. But if so, as least we have had a decent event for the midlands, even here in Hinckley

Going to say this all looks alot about nothing at the moment in Hinckley, radar showing light snow here and its doing nothing. Just cloudy. Let's see what the rest of the day holds
as a fellow Hinckley Gal, looks like we may miss the snow - rain predicted tomorrow for here :(

This is from Hinckely, should be good news to the rest of the region to our west! Especially if you don't get the 45 mins of rain before it
I know where you are... you ignored my last message from a fellow Hinckley person - I just hope you feel the local duck and Swan residents!

im not being picky - haha - but we have snow showing now for our area yeah..... but I do love it when the snow happens during daylight!! Love watching it real time. Its so hard at night time - constantly putting the hand out of the window to activate the garden light. But ill take any snow ! Ill watch it with wine instead and go for a midnight tipsy walk
Oh and I do love an amber warning

Talks about 15cms of snow
I would love to see 15 cms of snow, haven't seen that for many years. The closest was at my parents in Mansfield Dec 2010... That was the most frustrating time as there were heaps of snow north midlands (notts) Warwickshire West midlands i.e Coventry but Hinckley had NONE!!!

Precip South of coventry moving west to east. The bigger area further north moving east to west. Suggests the low pressure centre somewer inbetween. Whole system will start to move South very soon now.
what does that mean for us here in Hinckley?
