Still in shock at the record breaking 19th of July. It was actually quite eerie, like being in a burning pit of hell hearing the sound of a howling wind in temps nearing 40c and apocalyptic fires nearby, like the beast from the east right at the other end of the scale. I don’t think and I actually hope we don’t see many more days like that to come. It was very unpleasant, unsettling and about as extreme as you can currently get here.
We had a taste of how it feels in places like Greece and Spain very close to home, with regard to the fires and scorching winds.Same here .. it was a odd feeling.. I felt sad as I watched my cat struggle to get her breath, I felt a huge amount of guilt knowing that as humans we caused her suffering
