where is this? I sorry I'm on a mobile and is you picture anything to do with Richie hawtin by the way?Just returned from my mams house and heard warnings from what I assume to be the authorities asking people to stay indoors and not to venture out.!! First time Ive ever heard owt like that, anyways the snow is coming down in bucket loads here right now and looks to be set in for at least a couple of hours.

That was a brave trip out. Your vehicle must be good in the snow.
Reminds me of when I was young. May dad built a snow plough for his land rover and we used to go up into the hills at nights when conditions were bad. The snow shovels were often needed! 1981/82 & 87 were good ones!
Brave or stupid haha it's actually terrible in the snow as its rear wheel drive. purchased some snow socks for the tyres and it was just like driving on tarmac again. would of had 0 chance without them. i'll get the pictures from my phone soon..

Just had a trip to Blakey ridge (highest point in north york moors) good 6 - 8 inches on the ground and drifts upto a foot at lease. Crazy what difference a 30 minute drive and a little bit of altitude can do. I'll try get some pictures uploaded

I've just drove from pallister park up to Nunthorpe its similar just much more extreme down there. everything is fully whiteSimilar scenes here in Nunthorpe funnily enough. Cars that are parked and facing N E have a thick coating

Where I live in Middlesbrough it looks like ice crystals just floating in the air and the light is shimmering of it all the ground and cars etc look like they have been coated in icing sugar I've not seen this before. Any1 else have this?

has been snowing heavy here in nunthorpe for about 30 mins would say theres a few cm's covering the ground even roads now
