Hirlam and ICON have the front moving up and slowing over North London up to North Essex and then losing intensity as it moves further North. I'd say the line for good snow prospects can be drawn across from North Essex into Suffolk. South of there will do well, most south of London and M4.
So is west London looking good for some heavier snowfall tomorrow evening?

Already this morning I've lost my snow symbols on Meto, then I lost my weather warning...... But have now gained back my snow symbols and heavier ones for Thursday eve with a weather warning from today to Friday!!! Hahaha!!!! Nowcasting at it's finest and just goes to show how these systems can change within just a couple of hours, lol!!!
Lost my heavier snow symbols in the morning, lost snow symbols by midday now just have rain and sleet for a couple of hours.

Ive browsed now through all the latest charts
All the 6z
Tuesday im now 90 % confident
London and the southeast wil have at least 2-6 cms snow depth
Favoured areas NW of london
Watford st albans could see more
London north of thames widely at least 2cms with prone spots up to 6cms
Kent and south london 3-5 cms
Very possible
Thursdsys event atm will also be %80 all snow with maybe 5-10 cms of fresh acumalations
How about West London, UB6?

Anything from 2-5 cm for you I think. Based on current models. Better for those in more Southern parts of this regional thread. Kent etc up to 10cm possibly in a few places.
What about West London?

I noticed just now that the Met Office site has just updated, heavy snow symbols for most of the SE throughout Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, the snow finally moving away east/north east but still some snow around at 9am. This is likely to change again of course but its been upgrading the period of heavy snow since yesterday afternoon when it was showing mainly light snow over night.
Areas just south of London looking like doing best of all.Have sleet symbols here in W London. Hopefully that changes

Thanks Yamkin I'm having difficulty seeing where the next lot is coming from - I can see the showers coming SE from Cheshire, but these don't seem to fit the 9pm ish timeframe.

Yes I noticed that too - can clearly see the band running NW-SE to the north of London is now lifting northwards, almost as if it's taking on a frontal structure. Interesting feature to say the least!
What does this mean for West London, Greenford

The ice down my single track road is just starting to glisten in the light...
Absolute carnage on the roads this morning, I find ice worse than snow because drivers assume its not there.. Till its to late
Still good chance of a few suprises today!
Hopefully mate, I just think this is the best we are going to get this winter

March 2013 was the last time I saw a decent snowfall, the beast from the east just didnt do it for me from an imby perspective,I managed 2cm at best, while my mate,3 miles away across the valley, measured around 8 inches, even my old town fared better than me,220 odd ft asl, cmon, give me a decent snowfall that sticks for a few days before march
I think last year's BFTE is gonna be the most snowfall i see for a long time in Ealing, W London. Dec 10th 2017 also provided decent accumulation.
