There’s been some consistent thunder around the Sefton coast and some to the east of my location 53.5°N 3.0°W in the last 30 minutes but now it’s decreasing.

Just heard thunder to the south of me.

Thunder storm rolled in from Liverpool Bay and had hits around Crosby, also north in Formby. Had one fairly close to Ince Blundell.

A lot of the North West has done well out of this spell - we haven't had a direct hit but Saturday's storm was pretty close and still produced the best lightning I've seen in a very long time. We've had lot's of convection and thunder every day now for 4 days. It feels like our usual crap climate has been replaced by an exciting tropical, thundery mix. I hope it lasts a bit longer I enjoy living on Merseyside-Florida.
Got a direct hit with the storm on Saturday night. There was a lot of lightning within clouds over the Mersey Estuary but the cloud to cloud and ground was impressive. The current storm is to the south of here at the moment.
