The thunder is reallt scary

Lots of thunder and lightning overhead, I cant believe it :o
Got woken up by a big rumble of thunder!

most of the thunder and lightning is to my north.
Don't worry Ross we will get great storms when we are in Florida B)

Some big showers on the way for later but we have 0cm here, missed all the showers only had one light shower since 5pm....
Radar looks good for later with some very intense stuff on the way (purple on avbrief radar)

Snowing on and off here since 2pm, some blizzard conditons mixed in with some nice mammatus clouds at the end of some of the showers. B)

Thunder and lightning here, very heavy hail and rain. The fork lightning is amazing.

I have seen the heaviest rain I have ever seen, it was unbelievable, the streets and places about including my work got flooded
CG lightning and defining thunder was very frequent.
What a year for storms!!!

I've been out and about today to see the flood damage. Some roads are now higher than the pavements because water in the drainage system underneath has pushed the roads up The school playground is under a few feet of water and safeway and a few otehr shops have been flooded.
yeah I was reading the newspaper and I saw kilmarnock got hit pretty bad, and its starting to rain agaion

Had a noisy storm from 1200 to 1300, didnt see much lightning except for a few bright flashes whilst I was driving back from town (in my new car!), but very loud cracks and rumble of thunder :D
Still very humid & muggy
Woo nice one, u must have got the storm I got at 7am

Woken up by another thunderstorm at about 6.55am, only lasted for about 20 mins then on my way to work it started again. I seen a few flashes on lightning and the thunder was pretty loud.

Storm has passed over and woaahh it was amazing, very loud thunder and the lighning was like the stuff u see in Florida
I saw yer pics and thats what it was like here, I thought a tornado was gonna pop out of the sky
The lightning was a redish/pink colour here :shock:

One strike of lightning and one big rumble of thunder and that is it LOL
I can hear plenty of thunder in the distance, it is to far east.

OMG another REALLY heavy shower passing by with 1 flash of lightning and 1 ruble of thunder :shock:
